Donald Trump has narrowed the gap with Hillary Clinton to just 3 points in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, within the five-point margin of error,  a new poll shows.

The Morning Call/Muhlenberg College survey, conducted between Sept. 19-23 and released Saturday, finds the support in a two-way match stacking up this way:

  • Clinton: 44 percent
  • Trump: 41 percent

Last week, Clinton had a 9-point edge over Trump, 47 percent to 38 percent.

In a four-way race, the results are:

  • Clinton: 40 percent
  • Trump: 38 percent
  • Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson: 8 percent
  • Stein: 3 percent

The current survey's margin of error is plus or minus 5 percentage points.

In a Real Clear Politics averaging of polls in the Keystone State, Clinton is now ahead of the GOP nominee by 5.2 percentage points.
