Donald Trump ignited a Twitter storm Tuesday after praising former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein for killing terrorists in a speech bashing Hillary Clinton's foreign policy.
"Saddam Hussein was a bad guy, right?" he asked supporters in Raleigh, N.C. "He was a bad guy. Really bad guy.
"But you know what he did well? He killed terrorists. He did that so well. They didn’t read them rights. They didn’t talk.
"They were a terrorists, it was over.
"Today, Iraq is Harvard for terrorists," the presumptive Republican nominee said. "You want to be a terrorist, you go to Iraq.
"It’s like Harvard, OK? So sad."
The remarks lit up Twitter, with some even questioning Trump's remarks coming after the Fourth of July:
