Donald Trump singled out Texas as an example of alleged rigging of the presidential election, Politico reports.

Trump sent out a tweet Thursday, though he did not follow it with a specific source or report.

According to fact-check website Snopes, "reports are not flooding in from across Texas about vote switching."

"Although rumors of 'vote switching' in Texas are rampant," the site's Wednesday report reads, "we found only one case in which a report was investigated, and it was found to be unsubstantiated."

Politico suggests that Trump is referring to a recent Facebook post from a woman in Texas. She claims she attempted to vote "a straight Republican ticket," but that when she went to submit her ballot the box for Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine was highlighted.

The Tarrant County Republican Party Chair told a local CBS affiliate that the problem was likely due to human error, that many times voters mistakenly turn the machine's wheel to turn the page and accidentally change their vote.

"The Facebook post has taken on a life of its own. We don't think there's fraud inside the machine or software glitches," Tim O'Hare said Tuesday.

"In each incident where we could actually speak to a voter, they tell us that they discovered the changed vote on the summary screen display," county elections administrator Frank Phillips told the affiliate.

"This shows that the machine is working exactly as it should. The voter gets to review a summary of vote changes made and make any changes as needed before actually casting the vote."
