President Donald Trump tweeted a tout of his 48 percent approval rating in the latest Rasmussen Reports poll Thursday.
The 48 percent approval in the conservative pollster's latest survey is his highest among the polls monitored by RealClear Politics, and it is a fairly wide outlier. Most of the other polls range between 37 and 40 percent approval.
Among all those polls, Trump's disapproval rating ranges from 55 percent to the Rasmussen's low of 52 percent.
Rasmussen's results have consistently been more favorable to the president, approaching almost 60 percent after his inauguration in January and had dipped to a low of 42 percent in early April.
