Thirty-six percent of voters approve of President Donald Trump’s job performance – tying his all-time low mark, a new Washington Post-ABC News poll reveals.

He has hit the 36 percent approval rate twice before in the poll – in July 2017 and January 2018.

The poll also showed 60 percent disapprove of the job he’s doing – a new high. The previous high mark was 59 percent last November.

Here is how the poll breaks down:

  • 63 percent support the investigation of Trump and his associates by special counsel Robert Mueller, compared to 29 percent who oppose the probe.
  • 53 percent believe Trump has tried to interfere with Mueller’s probe in a way that amounts to obstruction of justice. Thirty-five percent say he did not try to interfere with the investigation.
  • 67 percent say Mueller’s prosecution of Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign chairman, was justified, compared to 17 percent who disagree.
  • 66 percent oppose a presidential pardon for Manafort, while 18 percent say they would support it.
  • 23 percent agree with Trump’s criticism of Attorney General Jeff Sessions for allowing the Mueller probe to proceed, compared to 62 percent who side with Sessions.
  • 64 percent say Trump should not fire Sessions, while 19 percent say he should.
  • 49 percent say Congress should begin impeachment proceedings against Trump, while 46 percent are against it.

The poll, conducted August 26-29, surveyed 1,003 people. The margin of error is 3.6 percentage points.
