President Donald Trump should "go back to attacking" Donna Brazile, the former interim chair of the Democratic National Committee said Friday.
Politico released excerpts of Brazile's new book on Thursday, in which she claims the Hillary Clinton campaign gained control over the DNC before the Democratic primary.
"If the fight had been fair, one campaign would not have control of the party before the voters had decided which one they wanted to lead," Brazile wrote. "This was not a criminal act, but as I saw it, it compromised the party's integrity."
On Friday morning, Trump tweeted his response, saying Clinton "stole" the primary from Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., her rival for the nomination.
