Asked about polling trending in the direction of the House Democrats' impeachment narrative, President Donald Trump continued his rejection of fake and biased polling.

"You're looking at the wrong polls," Trump told reporters Sunday. "You're reading the wrong polls.

"Let me just tell you: I have the real polls; I have the real polls. The CNN polls are fake. The Fox polls have always been lousy. I tell 'em they ought to get themselves a new pollster. But the real polls, if you look at the polls that came out this morning, people don't want anything to do with impeachment. It's a phony scam. It's a hoax."

Case in point, Sunday's NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll that revealed 49% of registered voters support impeachment and removal sampled 36% of voters who vow to vote in a Democratic primary and just 25% who will vote in a Republican primary.

President Trump has held a historically high approval among Republicans, according to reports, and Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy has reported on the phenomenon of oversampling Democrats, who famously hold animus toward the administration after 2016.

Trump added a call for the whistleblower to be revealed to stand to the public amid media reports he is a Democratic operative embedded in the deep state at the White House.

"The whistleblower should be revealed," Trump said, growing more stern. "Because the whistleblower gave false information."

The next question was whether Trump "still had confidence in Mick Mulvaney," the White House chief of staff.

"Well, he's working," Trump said. "As long as he's with me I have confidence."
