Fox News is now part of the media effort to have any depositions made by Donald Trump in the Trump University civil lawsuit made public,
Politico reports.
Several media organizations, including The New York Times, The Washington Post and Tribune Co., and the Chicago Tribune, were involved, but not Fox News.
That, a Fox spokesperson told Politico, is because it had not been made aware of the effort. As soon as it learned of it, it asked to join.
U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel has set a June 30 hearing on the motion. If he agrees to unseal the information, either side could release either part or all of any Trump deposition, including transcripts or videos, Politico said.
