Rudy Giuliani, an adviser to Donald Trump, said he's "proud" of his loyalty to the GOP nominee – including once observing that Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton "looked sick."
In a contentious interview with MSNBC's "Hardball" host Chris Matthews, the former New York City mayor said he's been "spot-on" about the issues.
"I am proud of the way I conducted myself," he said. "I think every issue I raised is a legitimate issue. I think that my analysis of her legal problems is spot-on. I think that she has committed a significant number of crimes that she has gotten away with. And I think, throughout their lives, the Clintons have committed a significant number of crimes that they have gotten away with. And I think that's a shame for our criminal justice system."
Of his observation that Clinton "looked sick," Giuliani said that turned out to be true as well.
Giuliani said he "pointed out on two occasions that she looked sick," and both times it was "within three days of the day she collapsed on September 11th."
"I think I was probably right, that she did look sick," he added.
