A group with ties to President Donald Trump announced Friday it will spend at least $1 million on ads against a Republican senator who will not support the GOP's healthcare bill.
Maggie Haberman of The New York Times was first to report the news on her Twitter account:
Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev., said Friday he will not back the current form of the GOP's healthcare bill, which was made public in the Senate on Thursday. Four other Republican senators said they will not vote for it either.
This has prompted America First Policies, a super PAC formed in January by six former members of Trump's campaign, to criticize Heller via television ads.
