President Donald Trump’s relationship with Russia is being relentlessly raised at town hall meetings hosted by Republican lawmakers, Politico reports.

Voters and activists have been peppering members of congress with questions about whether they support an independent investigation into Trump’s potential ties to the country and, if they do, what steps they are taking to assist in the process. They are also asking about Russia’s alleged influence in the 2016 presidential election.

Arizona Rep. Martha McSally, New York Rep. Tom Reed, Montana Sen. Steve Daines, Virginia Rep. Scott Taylor have all been asked about Trump’s ties to Russia according to reports. Taylor, according to the Virginian Pilot, said he supports a bipartisan investigation into the Russian influence in the election.

McSally, asked to support a “formal congressional investigation” into Trump’s business interests, specifically in Russia, said she would be “happy to take a look at it.”

The Senate Intelligence Committee has been charged with getting to the bottom of events surrounding alleged meddling along with Michael Flynn’s resignation as national security adviser following reports he discussed sanctions with Russian ambassador to the United States Sergey Kislyak.

Maine Sen. Susan Collins, a Republican, said Wednesday that she was open to requesting Trump’s tax returns as part of the probe if it would help in the fact-finding process. She also said members of the committee will formally request that Flynn testify.
