New documents released by lone wolf hacker Guccifer 2.0 – apparently obtained from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee – show the party's efforts to rally around preferred candidates in three Pennsylvania districts, The Hill reports.

In district six, the DCCC targeted Marian Moskowitz, a small businesswoman and 2014 candidate for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, as a challenger to Mike Parrish, who had already announced his bid, The Hill reports.

To persuade her to run, the DCCC arranged calls and meetings with top party officials such as Democratic Whip, Maryland Rep. Steny Hoyer, The Hill reports, citing exclusive data from the hacked information.

"Please tell Moskowitz that the DCCC will be all-in on her candidacy," talking points to Hoyer and other party officials said, The Hill reports.

"We will be there from day one to support her and help her build a strong campaign. DCCC is targeting this district but the current Democratic candidate (Mike Parrish) is not getting the job done."

Parrish ultimately won his primary, and is running against incumbent GOP Rep. Ryan Costello.

The cache adds to five Pennsylvania specific documents released publicly on the Guccifer 2.0 blog, including a November memo from the DCCC to House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi identifying House Districts 6, 7 and 8 as priorities for the party.

The Hill reports is also received vetting documents, internal polling, and memos – including near-monthly updated versions of the same Pelosi memo as the three races progressed.

The new documents come on the heels of Guccifer 2.0's claim of credit for the WikiLeaks DNC email leak that led to the resignation of Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, The Hill notes.

Guccifer 2.0 has claimed to be a Romanian lone wolf hacker but The Hill has reported technical evidence connects the DNC and DCCC attacks to those already attributed to Russia.

"National security experts are in wide agreement that Russian state actors have conducted a massive cyber attack against key Democratic organizations, including the DCCC. The Committee is cooperating with federal law enforcement in their ongoing investigation," DCCC National Press Secretary Meredith Kelly tells The Hill in a statement.
