Joe Scarborough: Hillary Clinton Biggest Neocon of All

Hillary Clinton is the most neoconservative of all the potential presidential candidates, MSNBC Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough declared Friday, saying that "she and Bill Kristol could write a book together."

"There's not been a war since the 1990s that Hillary Clinton hasn't supported," Scarborough said.

Others on the show panel protested that "neocon" may be an overstatement, but Scarborough insisted the former secretary of state and New York senator is an "interventionist."

"She wants to go to war a lot more than I want to go to war, a lot more than Rand Paul wants to go to war," he said. "I'm not to the left of Hillary on war, I'm left to Hillary on Wall Street."

Scarborough isn't the first person to say Clinton may be too "hawkish" to appeal to her party's core message, as many political pundits say her view may be too conservative for Democrats to feel comfortable putting her in the White House in two years.

"She's dramatically too far to the right. The evidence has been available to anybody who's willing to see it," HotAir.com associate editor Noah Rothman said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"There's a lot of people who don't want to see it. They see her support, which is a mile wide, but it's actually quite shallow and it has been for some time.

Liberal activists have also been slamming the former first lady in a members-only Google Plus group, with some calling for Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren to run for office in 2016.

Warren, at 65, has said repeatedly that she will not seek the presidency, and Clinton, 66, says she's waiting until next year to announce her decision.
