The mainstream media is "entirely in bed with Joe Biden," Big Tech has been getting worse, and by blocking the New York Post's reports concerning the revelations found on Hunter Biden's computer, companies like Facebook and Twitter have "crossed a line that is very dangerous," Sen. Ted Cruz said Thursday.

"The New York Post has the fourth-highest circulation in America," the Texas Republican said on Fox News' "Fox and Friends." "If you wanted to share this story from the New York Post, you clicked on the link, and you went up to a page that said 'blocked, this information is dangerous.' Well, maybe it's dangerous for Biden's political fortunes, but that's not really Twitter and Facebook's call to make."

The social media sites also blocked the Post itself from sharing its story, said Cruz, adding that he doesn't know of any precedent where a major news outlet has been blocked by the platforms, particularly from sharing "major evidence" of corruption from a presidential candidate within weeks of the election.

"As for everyone in the media who says, 'well, it's unverified,' you know, that didn't stop The New York Times from going on and on and on with what they say are the president's tax returns [or] the Steele document," said Cruz. "Now that was unverified."

Cruz added he doesn't know if the Post story is right or not, but Biden should be answering questions about it.

He also said Biden and his son Hunter should hold a press conference and answer questions about the computer and the emails reported in the Post.

"It's amazing, though, how much the press wants nothing to do with this," said Cruz. "They don't want to know if the vice president of the United States was selling favors from the White House. I mean, that's what the allegation is, is that for money, for millions of dollars to his family, that he was selling official policy, official aid of the United States of America to foreign countries. If that's true, that is serious, serious wrongdoing. And it's stunning that much of the media wants to ignore it."
