Joe Biden is firing back at Trump campaign attacks on Hunter Biden and his family as a corruption "crime family," saying he is "very proud of his family."
"I just think it's crass," Biden told Saturday's "Pod Save America" podcast, according to the New York Post.
Biden added he made a "specific decision" to leave President Donald Trump's family out of his campaign messaging.
"Look, I'm running against Donald Trump, not his children," Biden reportedly told the podcast. "The American people want to hear about their families, not about Trump's family or my family.
"It's just not how I was raised. It's that basic."
The reports on Hunter Biden's laptop, including alleged photos of underage girls should have been off limits and do not bring shame to Biden, he said.
"I'm very proud of my family," Biden reportedly told the podcast.
The Biden campaign also rejected the whistleblower claims this week of former Navy Lt. Tony Bobulinski as "a last-ditch effort in this desperate campaign to smear me and my family."
