A Florida Republican lashed back at Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., who called for Capitol Police to arrest illegal aliens in attendance at Tuesday night's State of the Union Address to Congress.

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., a moderate who supports protections for Dreamers, called Gosar's anti-illegal immigration stance "drastic and cruel" via tweet Tuesday afternoon.

Ros-Lehtinen was not the only Republican critic either, but Gosar expressed his long-held position against illegal immigration and amnesty.

Rep. Gosar wrote on Twitter:

Fellow Arizona lawmaker, Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., tweeted shade to Rep. Gosar:

Flake, a frequent Trump critic, is not seeking re-election in the 2018 midterms.
