Former FBI Director James Comey on Saturday fueled 2020 presidential rumors by tweeting a photo of himself from a cornfield in Iowa, the Washington Examiner reports.

Iowa is the site of the first Republican and Democratic caucus, and candidates spend a lot of time in the state for that reason.

"So good to see new growth in Iowa and across the country," Comey said in the tweet. Earlier in the day, he posted a photo of himself next to the world's largest concrete gnome – Comey is 6-foot-9.

Comey sparked 2020 rumors in October of last year when he posted from a once-secret Twitter account a photo of Iowa farmland and a phrase presidential candidates often use. But Comey during his recent publicity tour for his new memoir said he would "never" run for president.

The tweet comes two days after the Justice Department's Inspector General criticized Comey for the culture of the FBI and its handling of the 2016 probe into Hillary Clinton's e-mails.
