A series of undercover sting videos that have been released concerning Planned Parenthood shows "the most disgusting and immoral criminal activity," Rep. Jim Jordan said Wednesday, and proves the organization should not get "a penny of taxpayer money."
"If the president of the United States and Harry Reid think it's more important that Planned Parenthood get your tax dollars than to pay our troops, then they are shutting down the government," the Ohio Republican told
CNN's "News Day" program.

"No one wants a government shutdown. We don't want a government organization involved in what they are engaged in."
He said constituents in his district have told him they don't want to fund Planned Parenthood, and insisted the videos appear to show criminal activity.
"I'm on the Judiciary Committee," he said. "Of course we should continue the investigation. Of course we should get all the information out there. We know enough out there, already, to say this organization shouldn't get your tax money."
Jordan also addressed questions about Donald Trump's rise, saying that it's from a "real frustration" from voters who see that "nothing is getting done in Washington, specifically on the immigration issue."
But he said there will be a "tough semifinal" before the GOP nominee is determined, and he is sure that Republicans "have a good chance to beat Secretary [Hillary Clinton] if that's their nominee."
At the same time, he refused to become involved in the ongoing feud between Trump and Fox News' Megyn Kelly, saying she is a "good journalist" and it's "not a smart move to attack her, but I have other issues to worry about than getting into a debate about a presidential candidate and a news anchor."
