John Kasich said Wednesday that there was "more chance of Snoopy being Donald Trump's vice president than me" amid talk that the Ohio governor should consider a No. 2 slot for the White House.
"There is zero chance," Kasich told Erin Burnett on CNN. He had just met with Republican National Committee delegates at their spring meeting in Hollywood, Fla.
"Although, you could be my vice president," he told Burnett. "Are you available?"
"That's a proposition that I certainly did not expect, governor," Burnett responded.
"Well, what the heck?" Kasich said.
The governor finished second in the New York primary on Tuesday, picking up four delegates to winner Trump's 89.
Ted Cruz, who slammed Kasich Wednesday for remaining in the race, picked up no delegates from the Empire State.
