Sen. Kelly Ayotte says she'll support Donald Trump in the general election.
The New Hampshire Republican is the latest high-powered GOP lawmaker to jump on the Trump bandwagon.
"As she's said from the beginning, Kelly plans to support the nominee," Ayotte spokeswoman Liz Johnson told
WMUR on Wednesday.
Tennessee House Republican Caucus Chairman Glen Casada, a Ted Cruz supporter, said he will now back Trump. And former New Hampshire Sen. Judd Gregg has also given Trump his blessing.
Sen. Roy Blunt of Missouri, Sen. Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania and Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin also plan to support the billionaire developer if he clinches the nomination as expected this summer.
