The choice can't be "more stark" in Florida when it comes to electing Rep. Ron DeSantis for governor, presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway said Wednesday, noting that the race swung toward the lawmaker after President Donald Trump's endorsement.

"The number to remember is 40," said Conway on Fox News' "Fox and Friends." "There is a 40-point swing for Ron DeSantis, [who was] 20 points down before the president endorsed him and followed up with a rally in Florida on July 31."

DeSantis took the endorsement and "wore it proudly" and indicated to Floridians that he would be a reliable supporter of Trump's agenda, Conway continued, including lowering taxes and reducing regulations while respecting local communities.

She also noted Trump's influence in the Arizona election, where Rep. Martha McSally became the GOP nominee in the race to replace outgoing Sen. Jeff Flake.

Conway also talked about the ongoing testimony of former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr, whose wife worked for Fusion GPS, the company that contracted with British spy Christopher Steele for his anti-Trump dossier.

"This is important testimony because Americans in the interest of accountability, do have a right to know what is going on on the other side," said Conway.

Conway also discussed the president's tweets about Hillary Clinton's emails being hacked by the Chinese, pointing out that the former secretary of state "got away with all these emails," but 33,000 remain missing.
