Rep. Adam Kinzinger, one of five House Republicans who have said publicly that they'll vote for the second impeachment of President Donald Trump, said Wednesday that there will be a "notable" number of his fellow party colleagues who will also vote on the measure.

"I don't want to get in the guessing game because I don't want to guess high or low," said the Illinois Republican on "CBS This Morning."  "There will be more than us, and I'm not sure, you know, what that means. But I think it's certainly going to be notable."

He added that the Republican base is feeling "left behind and disaffected," and still feels that Trump is working on their behalf, but he doesn't think that's true.

"In reality, I think he's been working against them now, especially since the election," said Kinzinger. "These are tough votes. I think there will be more than the five you've seen so far."

In addition to Kinzinger, GOP Reps. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, John Katko of New York, Fred Upton of Michigan, and Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington have all said they will vote yes on the single article of impeachment, which accuses Trump of inciting the domestic terror attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Kinzinger on Sunday called on Vice President Mike Pence and the president's Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office. He also told ABC News that he wasn't sure an impeachment was the right move, as it would further victimize Trump.

He said Wednesday his decision since then to vote for impeachment didn't come because of a change of thinking.

"Looking at the impeachment article and knowing that the president incited an insurrection and now steps out and claims he bears no responsibility, I think in my mind at least, in my conscience and what I believe my job is, there's no way I could vote no on this," he said.

Kinzinger said he's gotten some threats about his vote, but "If I'm going to be intimidated, I should leave this job and let somebody who won't be intimidated come here. I won't be."
