Trump campaign adviser Lara Trump said Friday that Joe Biden never gave a clear answer about his son’s financial dealings in China and Ukraine during the final presidential debate — and that Americans are beginning to see how the story was ''censored.''
In an interview on Newsmax TV’s ''Spicer & Co.,'' the daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump said, however, it’s not even about what Hunter Biden did, ''it’s about what Joe Biden did.''
''I was impressed that the moderator Kristen Welker actually did ask Joe Biden a question'' about his son’s business involvements, she said.
''None of us thought that that was actually going to happen. The president did bring it up and kind of push him on it several times. But look this isn't even a question about what his son did, it's about what Joe Biden himself did.''
According to Lara Trump, ''when people are out there considering voting for someone to be the leader of the free world, you need to know very, very clearly and with 100% assurance that this individual is not compromised by any business dealings … and unfortunately we didn't get a very clear answer from Joe Biden last night.''
Lara Trump said, however, she thinks the American people are beginning to understand.
''The New York Post story initially was censored by the major social media outlets in this country,'' she said. ''And the American people better speak up and resoundingly send a message on November 3rd that the people are still in charge of this country and that they will not be ruled by these big conglomerates, that they will not be ruled by the mainstream media. The people have a right to know.''
The president himself thought he did well in the final debate, Lara Trump said.
''He felt he had a great night,'' she said, adding, ''the positivity he created last night will carry us to the finish line.''
''It was a really strong finish for him,'' she asserted.
