Conservative radio talk-show host Laura Ingraham had a one-word retort to establishment conservatives to Donald Trump's showing at the polls against Hillary Clinton on Tuesday: "crickets."
She posted her comment on Twitter:
The National Review issue Ingraham included in her post was published in February and featured 22 conservative leaders arguing in essays that Trump was "a menace to conservatism."
The issue featured such conservatives as Bill Kristol, editor of The Weekly Standard; Glenn Beck, founder of The Blaze; and former U.S. Attorney Generals Edwin Meese and Michael Mukasey.
