Conservative commentator Mark Levin tore into The New York Times after it published portions of President Donald Trump's tax returns, calling it a "diabolical corporate media operation."
In a Twitter thread Monday, Levin was highly critical of the newspaper that has the phrase "All the News That's Fit to Print" on its cover.
"1. THE NEW YORK TIMES CORPORATION. I want to remind you that the New York Times Corporation no more cares about the survival of this Republic than it cared about the Holocaust and Stalin's slaughter of Ukrainians. It is a diabolical corporate media operation," Levin wrote.
"2. And yes, it is particularly relevant to know this in the lead up to the election. It is a media corporation with a horrific record. It is not a voice for freedom or truth, let alone real journalism."
Levin then referenced and linked to one of his books, "Unfreedom of the Press."
"3. This link (below) gives you an idea of what I'm talking about, but there are several thorough, scholarly works that have been written about the monumental and horrific failures of the Times, and that is worth keeping in mind as it attempts to elect Biden and destroy Trump," he wrote.
"4. History matters, just as the abominable history of the Democrat Party matters."
Trump constantly criticizes the Times and other media organizations for publishing what he says is "fake news" — including the series of stories the Times is unveiling about his taxes.
