Hillary Clinton's lead has narrowed over Donald Trump in the latest Marquette University Law School poll released on Wednesday.
Here are the results, based on surveying 803 registered voters:
- Clinton: 42 percent.
- Trump: 37 percent.
Three weeks ago, here were the results:
- Clinton: 46 percent.
- Trump: 36 percent.
These were the results in July:
- Clinton: 43 percent.
- Trump: 37 percent.
"We might expect to see more fluctuation going forward," in the results, Charles Franklin, the poll's director, told The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The latest Marquette Law School poll was conducted between Thursday and Sunday and has a margin of error of 4.5 percent.
