Rep. Marsha Blackburn raised $500K more than her GOP opponent in fourth quarter fundraising in her bid to succeed retiring Sen. Bob Corker in the Senate, The Hill reports.

Blackburn is sitting on $4.6 million entering 2018 after a Q4 haul of $2 million, The Hill reported, citing numbers released by the campaigns.

Meanwhile, Blackburn's top challenger for the Aug. 2 primary in Tennessee, Stephen Fincher, reported Q4 fundraising of $1.45 million for a total war chest of $3.7 million.

"I promise, we are just getting rolling. We enter 2018 with momentum to win the nomination. We will not be outraised, and we will not be outworked," Fincher said in a statement.

Awaiting the Blackburn-Fincher winner is former Democratic Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen.

Corker announced his retirement in September.
