The Kentuckians for Strong Leadership, a super PAC supporting Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has created an Internet ad attacking Democratic opponent Alison Lundergan Grimes for getting financial support from Hollywood celebrities.
Grimes has received more than $250,000 from at least 66 Hollywood players,
according to The Hill.
The 90-second ad mentions Barbara Streisand, Rob Reiner, Woody Allen, Nicolas Cage, James Cameron, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Ben Stiller and Jeffrey Katzenberg among others.
The spot is set up like the Hollywood Squares game show with Grimes' celebrity supporters occupying the squares and offering verbal snippets in support of President Barack Obama.
Actor Chris Rock calls the president and first lady the "mom and dad of the country," while director Reiner compares the tea party to Hitler.
Meanwhile, the ad's narrator says, "Hollywood wins, game over for Kentucky."
