Fox News host Tucker Carlson is the most beloved television host among Republicans, according to the results of a new poll.
Key figures in the Morning Consult/Hollywood Reporter survey that was released Tuesday:
- Carlson has a net favorability among Republicans of 31 percent, followed by Laura Ingraham (26 percent), Ainsley Earhardt (25 percent), Dana Perino (24 percent), Chris Wallace (23 percent), and Sean Hannity (22 percent). The first 13 names on the list of Republicans' favorite hosts work at Fox News.
- Fox's Shepard Smith garnered the lowest net favorability rating among Republicans, 2 percent.
- Overall, NBC News anchor Lester Holt is the most trusted host. Behind him is CNN's Anderson Cooper, ABC's David Muir and Robin Roberts, Fox's Harris Faulkner, and MSNBC's Brian Williams.
- Hannity is the least trusted, followed by MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, CNN's Don Lemon, and the MSNBC trio of Mika Brzezinski, Chris Matthews, and Joe Scarborough.
Morning Consult reported that "Hannity" was the most-watched show on cable news in October for the seventh straight month.
