A lawyer recently hired by Michael Cohen blasted President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani for talking about "truth," CNBC reports.
Lanny Davis tweeted Monday that putting the words "Trump" and "Giuliani" next to the word "truth" is an "oxymoron," after Giuliani said Sunday that Cohen, Trump's former personal attorney, should cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller. Giuliani said he has "no concerns" Cohen will "do anything but tell the truth," in an interview with ABC News.
Attorney Michael Avenatti, who is representing adult film star Stormy Daniels and is known for his social media use to publicize her legal case involving Trump, criticized Davis for telling his followers to "stay tuned."
