Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said Thursday night in a tweet that Robert Mueller, the special counselor appointed to investigate President Donald Trump ties to Russia, called him wanting to talk, though the governor didn't know why.

On Friday, Huckabee tweeted:

CNN announced Friday that Mueller has added 13 lawyers to his investigative team.

Later that morning, Trump tweeted that he is "being investigated for firing" former FBI Director James Comey.

The Washington Post reported Thursday that Trump's adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner's business practices are under investigation by Mueller.

"We do not know what this report refers to," Kushner's attorney Jamie Gorelick told The Post in an email. "It would be standard practice for the special counsel to examine financial records to look for anything related to Russia.

"Mr. Kushner previously volunteered to share with Congress what he knows about Russia-related matters. He will do the same if he is contacted in connection with any other inquiry."

The New York Times reports that members of Trump's transition team have been instructed to keep any documents or materials related to Mueller's investigation, according to a memo from the team's general counsel's office.
