House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi warned the president and Republicans that they'll have "doo-doo stuck to their shoes for a long time" if they replace Obamacare with their latest healthcare bill, the Washington Examiner reported.

"I think President Trump is really making fools of the members of Congress, of his own party," Pelosi said during her weekly press conference.

"He's asking them to vote for a bill that is wildly unpopular in the country, is the wrong thing to do first and foremost. It's going to be doo-doo stuck to their shoe for a long time to come with terrible consequences for the American questions," said Pelosi.

The MacArthur Amendment — named after GOP centrist Rep. Tom MacArthur — to the American Health Care Act has gotten a thumbs up from most of the House Freedom Caucus, though the Tuesday Group moderates like it less.

Pelosi seemed to be almost daring Trump and the Republican Congress to pass it.

"Who knows if they'll ever have the votes to do it. They are in a lose-lose-lose situation," Pelosi said. "The president is making them walk the plank on a bill that has about 17 [percent support]."
