The New York Post Editorial Board took the New York Times to task for its "empty expose" on Donald Trump and his alleged mistreatment of women.
The
Times ran a front-page story on Sunday titled "Crossing the Line: How Donald Trump Behaved With Women in Private." By Monday, a former model and girlfriend of Trump's interviewed by the Times said
her words were distorted, and she disavowed her part in the story.
The woman, Rowanne Brewer Lane, said the NYT reporter told her it would not a be a hit piece, but the Post in its Editorial said that's exactly what it was.
"So honest readers will see this latest exposé for what it is: a blatantly partisan — and blatantly unfair -- hit job," The Post wrote.
