Conservative political action committee Americans for Prosperity will spend $400,000 on television ads against Rep. Alan Grayson in his congressional district in Florida, tying the Democratic congressman to Obamacare.

This is the second installment of ads by AFP in the Sunshine State that use the president's new healthcare law to target vulnerable Democrats. The conservative group spent $140,000 in November against Democratic Rep. Joe Garcia, The Washington Post reports.

"President Obama told the 'lie of the year,'" the ad begins.

"'If you like current insurance, you can keep your insurance,'" Obama says in a video clip.

"Congressman Grayson backed him up," the female narrator continues, followed up by a clip of the Florida Democrat saying that "'Everybody is going to love this bill.'"

The voice-over then cites statistics about how the new healthcare law has affected Floridians.

"Hundreds of thousands of Florida insurance plans canceled," she says. "Healthcare costs up. People are losing their doctors."

"And help the uninsured? Even that's not working," she adds.

"Call Congressman Grayson. Tell him there's nothing to love about losing your insurance or your doctor," she concludes. "Tell him, his vote for Obamacare is hurting Florida families."

Since August, Americans for Prosperity has put more than $27 million into ads against vulnerable Democratic lawmakers around the country for supporting Obamacare, the Washington Post reports.

"These ads are really part of a wall-to-wall effort that Americans for Prosperity has led for five years in opposition to Obamacare," Slade O'Brien, AFP's Florida state director, said in a statement.

"From writing Congress, to grassroots rallies and educational events, to radio and television campaigns, our members have stood in opposition to this law from every angle," he continued.

"Rep. Garcia and Grayson both know the president told the 'Lie of the Year,' but they're still supporting the Obamacare mess and all the attendant pain it inflicts on patients."
