Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 30 percent among Hispanics in Florida, according to a survey released Thursday.

“These Florida numbers are not only ominous for Donald Trump — they’re downright terrifying for Republicans nationwide,” pollster Fernand Amandi told Politico. He called Clinton’s 30-point margin “historic.”

“The share of the Hispanic vote is growing every election and this will be the third presidential election in Florida where Hispanics trend heavily against the GOP,” Amandi said. “And if that continues, it could turn Florida into the next California in future presidential elections, a blue anchor state.”

Here are the results of the poll by The Washington Post and Univision of 800 registered Hispanic voters:

  • Clinton: 60 percent.
  • Trump: 30 percent.
  • Green Party candidate Jill Stein: 3 percent.
  • Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson: 2 percent.

Four years ago, President Barack Obama beat Mitt Romney in exit polls, 60 to 39 percent, The Tampa Bay Times reported.

Among various groups within the Hispanic population sample, here are some results of a two-way presidential race:

Cubans:

  • Trump: 49 percent.
  • Clinton: 42 percent.

Puerto Ricans:

  • Clinton: 71 percent.
  • Trump: 19 percent.

Other Hispanic groups:

  • Clinton: 71 percent.
  • Trump: 20 percent.

In the U.S. Senate race, here are the poll's findings:

  • Democrat Patrick Murphy: 50 percent.
  • Republican incumbent Marco Rubio: 44 percent.

The Washington Post-Univision poll was conducted Oct. 26-30 and has a margin of error of 3.5 percent. Questions were asked in English and Spanish.
