Poll: Clinton Holds 42-Point Lead Among Jewish Voters

Hillary Clinton has a crushing lead over Donald Trump among Jewish voters, a poll released Tuesday shows.

In the poll conducted for the American Jewish Committee, the breakdown of Jewish voters' support in a four-way race goes like this:

  • Clinton: 61 percent
  • Trump: 19 percent
  • Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson: 6 percent
  • Green Party nominee Jill Stein: 3 percent
  • Not voting: 8 percent

The survey's margin of error is plus or minus 3.57 percent.

 

 

According to the survey, Clinton  is viewed as more likely than Trump to promote U.S.-Israel relations by 57 percent to 22 percent.

She is seen – 58 percent to 19 percent – as more able than Trump to deal effectively with Iran.  Clinton is also viewed, 58 percent to 22 percent, as better able to handle terrorism.
