President Donald Trump declared Thursday his is "one of the most successful" starts as president in U.S. history.
In remarks to reporters Thursday on Air Force One, the president cited job creation number, negotiations on military aircraft prices and his planned military buildup as proof of success, The Hill reported.
"I think we've had one of the most successful 13 weeks in the history of the presidency," he said.
The praise for his own accomplishments comes as a federal probe continues into whether Trump associates cooperated with Russia in its efforts to meddle in the 2016 presidential election; a twice-blocked executive order halting travel to the United States from a number of Muslim-majority countries, scrapped legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare, and staff changes – including the resignation of former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn.
