Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus shot back at Donald Trump after the presidential front-runner slammed him as a "disgrace" and the party's system as "absolutely rigged.
On Twitter Tuesday night, Priebus questioned why Trump would be challenging a nomination process that has been clear for a year, suggesting the billionaire developer's team simply didn't understand the process. "Complaints now? Give us all a break," Priebus concluded.
Trump launched his attack Tuesday in an interview with
The Hill.
"Reince Priebus should be ashamed of himself," he told The Hill. "He should be ashamed of himself because he knows what's going on."
Trump continued his attack during a town hall session on
CNN.
"I know the rules very well, but I know it's stacked against me by the establishment," Trump said.
"They changed the rules a number of months ago," Trump said on CNN. "You know why they changed the rules? Because they saw how I was doing and they didn't like it."
