A conservative radio host in Wisconsin received a hand-written note from Donald Trump Thursday afternoon, but the Wisconsin personality still says he won't support him for president.

Charlie Sykes posted a series of Tweets Friday that confirmed Trump wrote him a brief note in black marker on the cover of Monday's New York Times.

The note read, "Charlie — I hope you can change your mind. Look forward to doing your show. I WILL WIN!"

Trump signed the note and drew an arrow pointing to a front-page story about some Republicans beginning to get behind Trump.

Sykes addressed the note on his website.

"Okay, so I didn't see that coming. Not sure he really wants to do my show again, but he seems to be opening the door. Interesting. Perhaps we are in the midst of a Trump Charm Offensive," Sykes wrote.

"Despite the fact that Trump has publicly called me a 'lowlife' and a 'dummy,' I  do appreciate the outreach. (Mr. Trump is apparently willing to be more gracious than his legions of Trumpkins.)

"But, still #NeverTrump."

Trump appeared on Sykes' show in March and the pair sparred over, among other topics, the controversy regarding a photo of Sen. Ted Cruz's wife next to a glamour shot of Trump's wife that the real estate mogul retweeted.
