Most Democratic voters believe Bernie Sanders supporters are at least somewhat likely to support Hillary Clinton, according to a Rasmussen Reports poll

According to the poll:
  • 78 percent of voters said it's at least somewhat likely that Clinton will get votes from Sanders supporters.
  • 37 percent of voters said it's very likely.
  • 14 percent believe Clinton is not likely to gain Sanders supporters' votes.
  • 4 percent believe it's not at all likely that Clinton will get the votes of Sanders supporters.
The poll asked whether the Clinton campaign has effectively reached out to Sanders' supporters.
  • 43 percent of likely Democratic voters believe Clinton has done a good job of reaching out to Sanders supporters.
  • 32 percent of likely Democratic voters disagree that Clinton has done a good job of reaching out to Sanders supporters.
  • 25 percent of likely Democratic voters are undecided.
Among all likely voters, not just Democrats, 45 percent do not believe that Clinton has done a good job of reaching out to Sanders supporters; 24 percent believe she has effectively reached out to them.

Fifty-seven percent of all likely voters, not just Democrats, said they believe Sanders supporters will back Clinton, but only 22 percent strongly believe that Sanders supporters would support Clinton.

According to a May Rasmussen poll, 76 percent of Democrats who took the poll believed it was likely that their party would be unified at the convention.

The poll was conducted among 1,000 likely voters over two nights following WikiLeaks' release of Democratic National Committee emails that showed efforts to undercut Sanders in favor of Clinton
