Despite reports of trouble brewing between Donald Trump and the Republican party, all is apparently well — according to GOP chief Reince Priebus.

Priebus posted a brief message on Twitter Thursday afternoon that, on the surface, seemed to have a calming-down effect.

Trump retweeted the message, apparently from the same airplane and maybe even the next seat over.

Trump has been ruffling the feathers of many in the Republican party since he began his campaign last summer. He's recently caused more uproar by reiterating his proposal to temporarily ban all Muslims from entering the United States in the wake of the Orlando terror attack, and is even calling for some gun control measures

Party leaders and rank-and-file Republicans are growing so tired of Trump's words and rhetoric that he may have a solo fight on his hands as he pushes toward the November election.
