President-elect Donald Trump's ballyhooed secretary of state selection will come in the next two weeks, his Chief of Staff Reince Priebus said, according to The Hill.

"You know, I’m not sure: Soon,” Priebus told radio host John Catsimatidis on Sunday's "The Cats Roundtable." "Perhaps next week or the week after."

Trump had told Fox News on Friday he will name "almost all" of his Cabinet picks this week, but the signature position will likely remain under debate. AP reported earlier front-runners  New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney, the 2012 GOP nominee, are falling out of favor, while Former CIA director David Petraeus, Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., and now former Gov. Jon Huntsman, R-Utah, are in the mix.

Catsimatidis, asked Priebus if any Democrats might be in the mix for a spot in Trump's Cabinet, after Trump met with Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., on Friday.

"Well we’re not sure yet, certainly we're talking to them," Priebus said, per The Hill. "If it turns out that a Democrat is the best fit for a particular role, then that person is going to get picked."
