Don't send failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to prison, make her a U.N. ambassador, Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., told WPIX-TV, as reported by the N.Y. Daily News.

"I think it’d be a wonderful appointment to be our ambassador to the United Nations," she reportedly said in the Sunday morning interview on WPIX's "News Closeup."

"I don’t know if they want to hear from a Hillary Clinton supporter, but I think it would be a very wise appointment on [President-elect Donald Trump's] part."

Malone suggested Clinton would be a good fit for the U.N. Children’s Fund (UNICEF) or head of the world body, according to the Daily News.

"She will never stop working," Maloney added to WPIX. "She will always make a difference and will always be a part of the dialogue in a positive way to advance the values of America — and advance the causes that she believes in."
