Republicans who vote against their party's Obamacare replacement bill will "pay a price" in their home states, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Tuesday.

Spicer was asked about the subject during the White House press briefing.

"I think they'll probably pay a price at home," Spicer said. "When you realize the component to this bill, and that the president worked with the House and the Senate to put something together that achieved a promise that was made to voters – yeah, I think there's gonna be a price to be paid. But it's gonna be with their own voters.

"They're gonna have to go back and explain to them why they made a commitment to them and then didn't follow through."

Earlier in the press briefing, Spicer said there is "nothing more conservative" than what is in the American Health Care Act, which is scheduled to be voted on Thursday in the House.
