A surprising number of Republican primary voters said Tucker Carlson's departure from Fox News earlier this year makes them less likely to trust the network going forward.
In the latest Newsmax/McLaughlin poll, 44% of respondents said Carlson's exit makes them less likely to trust the network. Only 8% said it made them more likely to trust Fox, 4% didn't answer, and another 44% said it made no difference.
Of those that said it made a negative difference, a plurality – 29% – contended that it was a significant one. Another 15% said it made a moderately negative difference.
