Fox News host Bill O'Reilly said GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump has some valid points about election rigging, but he cautioned against not accepting a loss should he come up short of the electoral vote count Nov. 8.
"The vote cannot be possibly rigged two weeks from tonight," O'Reilly said at the open of his show "The O'Reilly Factor" on Tuesday.
Trump should accept the outcome "unless there is compelling evidence of corruption," he said.
"Undermining our electoral system is not a patriotic thing," O'Reilly said. "But overall, if you don't think the federal political and justice system has severe problems, you are living in the Land of Oz."
O'Reilly pointed to the Democrats' primary process that awarded the overwhelming majority of superdelegates to eventual nominee Hillary Clinton. He also noted Trump is correct in saying the left-leaning major media is actively working against his campaign.
He also noted Clinton's FBI investigation, including the wife of a top agency official receiving campaign funds from close Clinton ally and current Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe.
But, he said, with more than 100 million Americans voting, "it is virtually impossible for the actual vote tally to be rigged."
