Alabama Senate GOP candidate Roy Moore is leading his Democratic opponent Doug Jones by 6 points in a new poll taken amid allegations of sexual misconduct by the Republican.

Moore leads Jones 49 to 43 percent in the Fox10 poll of likely voters released Tuesday.

The survey found 8 percent of likely voters in the Dec. 12 election remain undecided.

According to Fox10, Moore lost 3 percentage points from a survey two weeks ago, while Jones showed a 2 percent increase in support; undecided voters went from 7 percent to 8 percent.

Among typical Republican voters, Moore showed an 8 percent loss of support from two weeks ago; Jones picked up 3 percent, the pollster noted.

The drop in Moore's support comes amid allegations from multiple women of sexual misconduct decades ago, and when asked if that influenced their choice, 36 percent said they had planned to vote for Jones anyway, Fox10 reported.

Another 35 percent said the allegations made them more likely to vote for Moore; 11 percent said they were less likely to vote for the Republican.

The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 2 points.
