Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, R-Wis., said he will give a local charity $1,000 he received in 2016 from Wynn Resorts Limited Initiative for Public Policy, an organization with ties to Las Vegas casino magnate Steve Wynn, The Hill reported Sunday.
Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel announced on Saturday Wynn was stepping down as the organization's finance chairman. The move follows claims against Wynn for sexual harassment by women over many years. Wynn has denied the claims.
The Wall Street Journal also reported last week Wynn allegedly paid $7.5 million to settle claims by a former manicurist who said he pressured her to have sex with him.
