President Donald Trump is continuing to work "amongst all this other noise that's happening" around him, including signing off on phase one of the China trade bill and other achievements, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrats remain against him, White House Press Secretary Stephanie  Grisham said Thursday.

However, she slammed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the USMCA, telling Fox News' "Fox and Friends" that the California Democrat's "calling card" is to hold off on items such as the deal "until she thinks she's going to get what she wants."

"That's clearly what she did with the articles of impeachment, and I would say that she's the one obstructing Congress rather than anything the president has done," said Grisham.

She also called complaints from Pelosi and other Democrats about the China deal and the economy under Trump "very, very sad."

"The Democrats cannot take even a moment to celebrate things that are good for this country, and it's because the president is at the forefront and he's the one who's been spearheading it," said Grisham. "That just shows once again that they hate this president more than they love this country."

Grisham also discounted an interview given by Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas, who told MNSBC Wednesday that Trump knew about his actions in Ukraine.

"This is a man who is under indictment and who is actually out on bail," said Grisham. "We're not too concerned about it."

Democrats, meanwhile, want the Senate to do during Trump's impeachment trial what was not done in the House inquiry.

"The president has a great legal team...it'll show that (he) did nothing wrong," said Grisham.
