National press secretary for Bernie Sanders' campaign Symone Sanders is calling it quits,
Fusion first reported.
The move, which Symone Sanders told
Politico is amicable, is another sign that the Vermont senator's campaign is winding down.
"I'm very proud of the work we have done and am now looking forward to helping elect down-ballot Democrats and do all I can to ensure a Democrat is the 45th president of the United States," Symone Sanders told Politico. "The senator … and I are all in a good place."
Symone Sanders had been with Bernie's campaign since August 2015, Politico reported.
